Wczoraj odebrałam ramy od stolarza. Dąb i buczyna, piękne gradacje brązów. W Hempweavers dużo eksperymentujemy, lecz zawsze staramy się utrzymać wysoką jakość składników. Nowy len, z Litwy, skręcony z dwóch nici. Zobaczymy jak będzie pracował w osnowie. 12 metrów już nawinięte. Lubię te niewielkie różnice w kolorze beżowej przędzy; kontrast nabiera wielkości na gotowej tkaninie.
Framing the reds. Yesterday I brought from the carpenter new beautiful six wooden frames made from oak and beech wood. Excellent differences in the colour of wood. In Hempweavers we like to experiment but always keep the highest level of ingredients. What's more, I have new linen from Lithuania, this time 2 ply. Wonder how it will work in the warp. 12 metres already wound... I really like these small differences in the colour of beige linen, because the contrast grows in the end, when the textile is ready.
