Sejpak pochodzi od słowa ‘sejpić’, ‘sejpać’, co oznacza strzępić się. To technika tkacka wykonywana na czterech nicielnicach przy użyciu czółenka i kleszczki. Jej Mistrzynią jest Sabina Knoch ze Szczepek. W Interweave Studio wykonuję tkaninę w tej technice na krośnie Louet przy użyciu 12 nicielnic. Textiles are constructed on four shafts loom with a shuttle and a tool called ‘kleszczka’. The Master of sejpak in Poland is Sabina Knoch from Szczepki. In Interweave Studio I implement this folk technique on a 12 shaft loom. Below, a sneek peak from the first stage of constructing the textile.
